Job summary

Marshall Harmony is seeking a Production Coordinator to sit in the middle of Sales, Stores and Production. In this role you’ll keep customers updated and ensure materials flow smoothly from arrival to dispatch.

You’ll walk the shop floor, check machine capacity, understand priorities and raise issues before they affect delivery. The site offers a collaborative team and real scope to improve how we plan and execute production.

I asked the Operations Manager why they were recruiting.

"At the minute, sales stick the order on a spreadsheet and throw it into production."

Some material will arrive and go straight back out.

Some jobs will need sending out for subcontract work before coming back in.

Your job as Production Coordinator is making sure everyone knows what's happening, when it's happening and what needs to happen next.

It's not about sitting behind a desk updating spreadsheets all day.

It's about talking to people.

Walking the shop floor.

Checking machine capacity.

Understanding priorities.

Asking the questions before they become problems.

The Operations Manager is someone you'll enjoy working with.
