Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking an Assistant Production Co-Ordinator to support day-to-day operations in a Capenhurst manufacturing environment. You will work alongside the Production Co-Ordinator to help achieve production targets, safety standards and quality KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is essential.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills are required.
• Good communication abilities and confidence working with production data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Access databases, is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities and manufacturing schedules.
• Supervise and support Production Team Leaders and Operators.
• Monitor production output, efficiency, quality, OEE and downtime.
• Complete production data input and maintain accurate reports and KPIs.
• Coordinate manpower, materials and equipment to maximise productivity.
• Investigate production issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Work closely with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Laboratory and Warehouse teams.
• Support continuous improvement, waste reduction and efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality and company procedures.
• Act as Production Co-Ordinator during periods of absence.

Our client is looking for an Assistant Production Co-Ordinator to support the day-to-day running of their manufacturing operation. About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally with supervisory or team leadership experience. You will need strong organisational and problem-solving skills, good communication abilities and confidence working with production data and Microsoft Office, including Access databases.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and quality management systems would be advantageous.
