Job summary

Special Quality Alloys Ltd (A Special Steel Group Company) is recruiting for a Production Controller (Machining) to join the busy Production department in the United Kingdom. The role supports the Operations Management team, controls subcontract machining, and ensures deadlines are met with effective prioritisation.

You will plan resources, monitor production schedules, and liaise with management to optimise performance.

We are currently recruiting for a Production Controller (Machining) within our busy Production department.

Key Tasks

• Working with the Operations Management team to control the subcontract machining process.
• Overseeing deadlines and ensuring work is effectively prioritised.
• Meeting regularly with management to discuss performance and workloads.
• Planning ahead to ensure adequate resources are available in order to maintain standards and deadlines.
• Handling production schedules / timelines and overseeing the work to list.
