In this role, you will be responsible for translating production plans into actionable schedules, ensuring seamless execution across production and logistics functions, and driving operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Production Scheduling & Execution

  • Translate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) into detailed daily/weekly schedules for work centers and assembly lines.
  • Release and manage work orders, authorizing manufacturing activities in line with validated plans.
  • Adjust priorities in real-time based on material availability, resource constraints, or urgent requirements.

Monitoring & Performance Control

  • Track production progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure alignment with schedules.
  • Generate and analyze KPIs related to production execution and delivery performance.
  • Monitor availability of key resources (personnel, equipment, tooling) to support production continuity.

Problem Solving & Recovery

  • Investigate root causes of delays or disruptions and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and coordinate short-term recovery plans in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Integrate rework or repair activities into the production schedule as needed.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Lead or actively participate in daily production meetings, providing updates and supporting decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve production-impacting issues.
  • Ensure planning tools (e.g., SAP, MES) reflect real-time production status.

Logistics & Material Flow Responsibilities

  • Oversee inbound logistics, including goods receipt, inspection, and customs processing.
  • Manage internal logistics and kitting operations to ensure just-in-time delivery to production lines.
  • Coordinate outbound logistics for finished goods and spare parts.
  • Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Plan and optimize transport routes and ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
  • Support warehouse optimization and explore automation opportunities in material handling.

Master Data Management (MDM) Support

  • Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and validation of master data records (e.g., materials, suppliers).
  • Support urgent data requests to unblock critical production or logistics processes.
  • Participate in data quality initiatives, including cleansing, monitoring, and root cause analysis.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in production control, supply chain, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP and MES systems (e.g., SAP, WMS, TMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Why Join Us?
