Job description

Production Controller

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for precision and production planning? We’re looking for a Production Controller to join our dynamic team dedicated to programming and production excellence.

About the Role:

As a key member of the production team, you’ll be responsible for planning, programming, and coordinating production tasks to improve efficiency and ensure timely delivery. You'll play a pivotal role in driving improvements, optimising material use, and maintaining high standards in safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate programming files for CNC machines
  • Maintain production department documentation and records
  • Produce workshop documentation
  • Coordinate activities to meet deadlines and production goals
  • Optimise material usage and reduce wastage
  • Monitor material availability for machine planning
  • Identify and report high-risk jobs and non-conformities using Mango
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Liaise across departments including Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, and QHSE

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of fabrication and planning processes
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings
  • Experience using StruMIS and CAD/drawing software
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Highly computer literate
  • A proactive approach to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
