Job summary

Marshall Land Systems is seeking a Production Controller to oversee the end-to-end production lifecycle from order to delivery. The role requires coordinating planning inputs into the Master Production Schedule, maintaining workflow across streams, and ensuring on-time delivery while controlling costs and quality.

Strong ERP/MRP experience and IT skills are essential, with onsite work a must and BPSS checks possible.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage production activities to protect TAKT and ensure smooth workflow.
• Own a programme stream and input planning into the Master Production Schedule.
• Coordinate with internal streams for aligned planning and on-time delivery.
• Monitor progress and adherence to load and offload dates.
• Report performance metrics via KPI reporting.
• Identify and mitigate material shortages and supply risks.
• Maintain shop order accuracy and support supply chain activities in the MRP system.
• Control production costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Work cross-functionally to finish shop orders on time per customer specs.
• Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are adhered to.

The Production Controller is responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end production lifecycle, from customer order through to delivery. This role ensures production plans are executed effectively, materials are available, and operational performance meets customer expectations for quality, cost, and delivery.

Your key responsibilities in this role include

• Plan and manage production activities to protect TAKT and ensure smooth workflow through the production process
• Take ownership of a programme stream, managing its planning inputs into the Master Production Schedule
• Coordinate with internal programme streams to ensure aligned planning and on-time delivery of production outputs
• Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to planned load and offload dates
• Track, compile, and report performance metrics through KPI reporting as defined by the Production Support Manager
• Identify and mitigate material shortages and supply risks impacting production
• Maintain shop order accuracy and housekeeping within the MRP system to support Supply Chain activities
• Control production costs while maintaining required quality standards
• Work cross-functionally to ensure shop orders are completed on time and to customer specification
• Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are always adhered to
