Job description

Red Bull Powertrains have an exciting Production Control Student Placement opportunity for undergraduate students to spend a year as part of our Production Control team. The placement will run from summer of 2025 for one year and offer the opportunity to demonstrate your enthusiasm and apply your knowledge in an open and dynamic environment.

The Production Control Team are responsible for managing component demand, tracking component usage and facilitating the scheduling of components through our world-class manufacturing and assembly facilities to ensure delivery of the right part at the right time! This role works closely with multiple teams, coordinating delivery of quality parts by order of priority and operational scheduling.

Desirable Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong academic background
  • On track to achieve a 2:1 degree or above in Engineering, Science or Technology subjects
  • Good knowledge of Formula 1 hybrid power units & components
  • Engineering project planning & project delivery
  • Planning detailed hardware requirements in line with a top-level plan
  • Co-ordination of fast-paced projects with ambitious targets & timescales
  • Bill of materials (BoM) creation & maintenance

Key Attributes of the Successful Candidate:

  • Positive, can-do, attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to follow best practice and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in a team environment
  • Hands-on approach to problem solving
