Location: Salford. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week required in the Salford office.
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

TV Operations and Ents Business is looking for a Production Co-ordinator to join the team, working across a wide range of content; TV, Radio, Digital, linear and multiplatform, supporting a wide range of content production, Delivery and Planning teams. This role differs from a traditional Production Co-ordinator position, but we are seeking someone with genuine expertise in production co-ordination.
We are introducing this new role on a fixed-term basis for six months to evaluate its suitability for our current workload. This period will allow us to assess whether the role effectively addresses our needs and ensures the right balance of responsibilities within the team. At the end of the six-month term, we will conduct a thorough review to determine the future of the role.
The Production Co-ordinator will play a key role in managing payments across a wide portfolio of content from BBC Food to Channels and iPlayer to 5Live, ensuring all payments have appropriate sign off and are in-line with BBC policy.
They’ll support a range of content production teams, Delivery and Planning teams, booking suppliers, contractors, freelancers, on air presenters and contributors, managing complex payments, providing advice on contracting/payment types alongside booking travel and accommodation as required.
They’ll support commissioning, both digital and linear, managing approvals and payment processes.
They’ll be responsible for managing and monitoring elements of budgets, forecasting and reporting, where required.
