Job summary

A leading staffing agency in Northern Ireland is seeking a Production Co-Ordinator to support manufacturing and assembly teams. The role involves developing production schedules, checking material availability, and generating reports. Candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant experience, proficiency with IT systems, and be able to read engineering drawings. A valid UK Driving Licence is also required, and applicants must be authorized to work in the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Proficient in using IT equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Site Production Schedule in alignment with Master Schedule.
  • Check materials ordered from the BOM and affirm the list.
  • Generate picking lists & coordinate timely delivery of materials.
  • Provide daily & weekly KPI information and reports.

Skills

3 years' experience in similar duties
Reading assembly and schematic drawings
Proficient with IT equipment & systems
Full UK Driving licence

Education

Relevant certifications (NVQ in construction, CSR)

The Production Co-Ordinator will support our clients growing manufacturing and assembly team in either Scarva or Gilford. The Production Co-Ordinator is responsible developing a site specific Schedule to align with the Company Master Schedule and roll it out across their site with The Senior Production Manager and to ensure materials are available for any works taking place in this yard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Site Production Schedule from the Master Schedule with the Planner.
  • Analyse Engineering Drawings and create BOMs.
  • Check on materials ordered from the BOM on the material trackers and reaffirm list.
  • Generate picking lists & co-ordinate with stores for timely delivery of materials.
  • Ensure fabrication & assembly drawings are issued to Sub-Contractors and recorded on drawing release schedule & master schedule.
  • Ensure drawings are approved by Contracts in a timely manner and advise Document Control when ready for issue to subcontractor.
  • Provide Daily & Weekly KPI information and create reports.
  • Update Process progress on Field View.
  • Define Site Capacity for each activity- hours available.
  • Provide information to enable the development & maintenance of production plans by Planner.
  • Chase shortages from Construction Material Requests (CMRs).
  • Co-ordinate transfer of painted pipe to assembly area.
  • 3 years' experience within a role completing similar duties.
  • Being able to read and understand assembly and schematic drawings.
  • Proficient with the use of IT equipment & systems.
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Relevant certifications (, NVQ in construction, CSR) are advantageous.
