Overview
Summary:
Truss Builders are responsible for efficiently assembling and manually plating individual trusses according to shop drawings, ensuring accuracy, quality, and productivity within the designated time frame. This role plays a key part in maintaining the company's high standards for roof and floor truss construction.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 3:30 pm
Full benefits after 60 consecutive days of employment

Responsibilities
Insert or position materials, clamp, splice, fit parts by hand and with power tools, and verify dimensions of cut material by following supervisor instructions, blueprints, and cut sheet layout.
Use hammer to place metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints.
Conduct quality control of assembled items and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency.
Follow prioritized production list assigned by Assembler Lead and use assigned press stations to place and press plates on lumber.
Complete daily machine and area cleanup procedures.
Qualifications
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information one-on-one.
Ability to read and understand simple diagrams, blueprints, and use a tape measure.
Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts and lift up to 80 pounds.
High school diploma or GED.
