Description
Summary: Performs complex assembly operations by assembling parts and subassemblies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Mechanical and technical skills
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the assembly line team
  • Meeting production targets and deadlines
  • Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
  • Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
  • Follow company procedures and directives.
  • Test finished products for defects.
  • Maintain the tools used to create products.
  • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
  • Basic computer skills to scan in and out of routers and printing required documentation
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible and willingness to interdepartmental cross train as workload requires
  • Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels

Education and Experience
  • High School w/6+ years’ experience or AA/AS/Technical School w/3-6 years’ experience

Physical Demands and Abilities
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
  • Able to stand for entire shift.
  • Regularly possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
