A leading aerospace and defense company is looking for a Production Associate for a 12-month contract in Glenrothes, Scotland. This on-site role involves soldering, mechanical assembly, and following quality guidelines. Ideal candidates have a technical background or experience in manufacturing and must be ready for shifts after training. Production Associate (12 Month Contract FTC) – Glenrothes, Fife. Some occasional travel to Livingston may be required for business requirements.
A great opportunity to join the Raytheon UK Production team at our on-site factory producing high quality electronic products for the Aerospace and Defence industry working in a Manufacturing Production team. You\'ll receive on-the-job training at our in-house training school for the first 5 weeks. This role can open doors to future opportunities in Manufacturing.
This role is on-site, in a factory/lab/manufacturing cell environment using a range of electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and a microscope.
Training shifts will be similar times adjusted to the training schedule. Dayshift: Mon-Wed 07:30–17:18, Thurs 07:30–17:06. Nightshift: Mon-Wed 10:00–07:00, Thurs 09:30–07:00.
Interviews at Glenrothes site. If based in West Lothian (Livingston and surrounding areas), please be prepared to travel to Glenrothes for assessment and training. During the 3.5 hour interview assessment, candidates will complete:

This role is ideal for candidates with a technical background, those with experience as a Production Operator, in factory/manufacturing/engineering, or transferable skills from other technical fields. It is also suitable for Higher Education graduates looking to start a career in Manufacturing or in a mechanical/electronic/production industry.
