Job Description

This role is based in London, UK Office

We're looking for a Production Assistant to join our team as part of our Content function.

Your Role:

You will support the studio team with day-to-day operations, maintaining, organising, handling, and observing safety procedures for the equipment and studio space. You will also help ensure compliance with studio standards and procedures. Additionally, you will assist the Video team in London to produce various types of video assets, with special emphasis on live video content produced from our studio in our office in central London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Booking equipment for video productions
  • Liaising with the Producer / Director to discuss requirements and plans for each project
  • Organising and ingesting footage for post-production as well as archiving content
  • Organising and executing kit maintenance, filming studio duties, and other organisational tasks, liaising with external suppliers when needed
  • Supporting on set including camera operating, lighting, audio, and streaming
  • Receiving briefs for, and producing, simple packaged edits for production
  • Facilitating & managing low-risk, low-maintenance livestreams with support from a senior team member
  • Supporting in the shipping and delivery of kit to our events
Qualifications
  • This role is suitable for someone seeking their first or second role in video production, aiming to gain experience in a diverse and skilled creative production team
  • Previous experience managing a kit room or being a gaffer/runner in the corporate or film industry is useful
  • You are comfortable commuting regularly to meet production requirements
  • Knowledge of broadcasting and filming equipment including cameras, teleprompters, audio, capturing, and streaming equipment, with the ability to maintain the kit and support the Live and Video Technology team
