Production Assistant - Embroidery & Print

We're looking for a Production Assistant to join our team at our Showroom in Parkgate, Rotherham.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparing garments ready for embroidery/print application
2. Weeding heat transfer vinyl & applying transfer tape when necessary
3. Prepare all machinery for production. Eg, loading threads, loading designs onto the embroidery machines, setting heat press time, temperature & pressure
4. Decorate items using both Embroidery & Print
5. Quality checking completed items, folding them ready for photos & packing.
6. Packing orders.
7. Basic machine maintenance.
8. Reporting any stock shortages and issues
9. Maintain a clean and tidy workstation (general housekeeping)
10. Ensure the equipment used is treated correctly.
11. Assist with the achievement of department targets
12. Communicating effectively and respectfully with customers, co-workers and management
13. Work with other departments as required to ensure deadlines are met and any issues are communicated
14. On occasion, deal with customer enquiries within the showroom.

What you need:

1. Basic computer skills (we'll teach you the rest!)
2. A keen eye for detail
3. A positive attitude
4. Would also suit a school leaver
