Job summary

Normec i2 Analytical is seeking a motivated team member to join our lab support team in Watford. You will assist with receiving and logging client samples, preparing and distributing to departments, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.

Experience in production/warehouse settings and a basic understanding of quality systems will help you thrive. We value proactive, organized, and clear communication as you contribute to accurate testing and customer satisfaction.

• Industry experience desired but not essential.

Are you interested in Science and keen to pursue a career where you can make a meaningful impact? With a background in warehouse/production environment, you will work along side our technicians to support with the preparation and logging of samples and general housekeeping.

Main Responsibilities:

• Receiving, logging, and organising client samples for laboratory testing.
• Preparing and distributing samples to the appropriate laboratory departments.
• Liaising with clients and colleagues regarding sample testing and queries.
• Storing and disposing of samples correctly.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Ensuring all health & safety and quality procedures are adhered to at all times.

• 37.5 hours Mon-Fri alternating between 0800-1600 and 0900-1700

Your profile

Experience required:

• Experience of working in a production/warehouse environment.
• Understanding of operating within a quality system.
• Industry experience desired but not essential.
