Mary Rush Care Ltd in Skipton is seeking a Prep Room Assistant to support daily production of fresh pizzas, sandwiches and other food-to-go items. The role suits someone with a background in food preparation, catering or hospitality who enjoys a busy team environment.

You will follow recipes and hygiene procedures, keep the prep area stocked, and help maintain high standards of quality and presentation. This is a full-time, on-site position with weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation, catering or food production.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and making fresh pizzas, sandwiches and other food products.

• Following recipes, portion sizes and preparation procedures.
• Preparing ingredients and ensuring the prep area is fully stocked.
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
• Following food hygiene, health & safety and allergen procedures.
• Keeping the prep room, equipment and work areas clean and organised.
• Checking stock and reporting any shortages or issues.
• Working efficiently to meet daily production requirements.
• Supporting the wider team with general food preparation duties when required.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a background in food preparation, catering, hospitality or food production who enjoys working as part of a busy team and takes pride in producing good-quality food.
