The role involves working in a chilled environment to ensure the efficient preparation and handling of fresh produce.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, handle, and process food products according to food safety and quality guidelines.
• Conduct manual handling tasks, including lifting, moving, and sorting fresh produce.

Day-to-Day duties:

• Start your shift in the evening, ensuring you are prepared to work in a chilled environment.
• Begin production line tasks.
• Use manual handling techniques to transport and position products as required.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace throughout the shift.
• Regularly check the quality of produce and report any discrepancies to your supervisor.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
• End your shift with a recap of the day’s achievements and prepare the workspace for the next team.

The basic working hours are 8am-6pm 5 days / week.

The starting pay rate is £12.71/h.
