Custom Interconnect Ltd is seeking a Production Assistant to join our PCB assembly team in the UK. You will support efficient, high-quality production of circuit boards and perform hands-on tasks from preparation to testing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You should have experience in production or assembly, strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity and the ability to follow procedures precisely.

As a Production Assistant you will work as part of a team to produce printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), supporting the efficient and high-quality production of goods within a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of hands‑on production activities; day-to-day you will primarily focus on general product and board preparation tasks as well as supporting on testing, product builds as required to ensure effective running of production and efficient product output.

The successful person will demonstrate a keen eye for detail, excellent team-work and the ability to handle small hand tools and production equipment.
Whilst previous Electronics experience is very beneficial, we are keen to hear from people who have experience within a similar manufacturing environment and transferable skills, which can add value to our business.

Quality Standard Achievement:
Previous experience in a production or assembly role within a similar manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail
Focused on detail with a ‘Right First Time’ attitude
Manual hand dexterity and strong use of fine motor skills
Ability to work individually meeting own targets and as part of a team working towards shared goals
Flexible; willing to learn new tasks and assist in different areas of the production processes as required
Excellent level of communication skills with the ability to relay information at a level relevant to the audience
The ability to follow instructions and understand works orders
Use of fine tools and microscopes advantageous
Experience in PCB production processes is desirable
