Job summary

Nibbs Events Ltd in London (Paddington Office) is seeking an entry-level Production Assistant to support the planning and delivery of major events such as BAFTA Film Awards, Fashion Awards and Pride of Britain. You’ll gain hands-on experience across every stage of event production and work closely with the assigned Project Lead.

This is an entry-level role with a 6‑month probation. The position offers a salary of £29,000 per year, with a view to long-term growth within the company.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated passion for live events.
  • Previous runner experience on live productions is desirable.
  • Excellent organisation, multitasking and time-management skills required.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Support the project team with administrative tasks across tenders, pitches and live projects.
  • Manage daily administrative needs such as meeting scheduling, travel and minutes.
  • Support calendar management across the team.
  • Handle confidential files and records with care.
  • Oversee office administration and storage solutions.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and contractors.
  • Provide on-site operational support for live events.
  • Assist with website updates and social media planning.
  • Coordinate annual internal company social events and client engagement activities.
  • Stay aware of trends in live events and experiential marketing.
  • Ensure all work is completed on time to high standards.

Term: Full time, permanent (6-month probation period)

Salary: £29,000 per year (salary review after successful completion of 6 month probationary period)

The Role

This is an entry‑level position within a thriving events agency at a pivotal moment in our growth. We’re looking for someone driven, curious, and ready to get stuck in as we consistently go above and beyond for our clients.

As a Production Assistant, you’ll work closely with the assigned Project Lead across multiple projects, supporting the planning and delivery of major events including the BAFTA Film Awards, Fashion Awards and Pride of Britain. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across every stage of event production. We’re seeking an energetic, ambitious and highly organised individual who’s excited to help deliver the exceptional events Nibbs Events is known for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the project team with administrative tasks across tenders, pitches and live projects from planning through to delivery.
  • Manage daily administrative needs such as meeting scheduling and room bookings, travel arrangements, agenda preparation, minute taking, research and supplier coordination.
  • Support calendar management across the team.
  • Handle confidential files, correspondence and records with care, accuracy and discretion.
  • Oversee Nibbs Events’ office administration, including handling deliveries, collections and general office organisation.
  • Manage the team’s inventory and storage unit, coordinating deliveries and maintaining efficient storage solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.
  • Provide flexible operational support onsite to ensure the successful delivery of live events. Working on workstreams such as accreditation.
  • Contribute to internal brainstorms and creative development sessions within the core team.
  • Assist with website updates and social media planning.
  • Coordinate annual internal company social events and support ongoing client engagement activities and gifting.
  • Stay aware of evolving trends shaping live events, entertainment, experiential marketing and social media.
  • Ensure all work is completed on time and to Nibbs Events’ high standards of quality.
What We’re Looking for

You don’t need to have done it all, but you do need to be passionate about live events, incredibly organised, and ready to grow within a fast‑paced, supportive team.

Skills & Experience
  • Clear passion for live events.
  • Some previous runner experience on live productions is desirable.
  • Excellent organisation, multitasking and time‑management skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable and confident prioritising tasks under pressure.
  • A positive team player with strong initiative and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Experience in events, hospitality, marketing or a customer‑facing role is desirable but not essential.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally when required.
  • Based in our London office at least four days per week.
