Pertemps Walsall Industrial seeks a Production Assistant for a full-time, temporary-to-permanent role in Burntwood, paying £12.71 per hour with secure parking, a pension and 28 days' holiday. Working 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday with an early finish on Friday, the successful candidate will create, update and manage orders and tracking sheets, carry out quality checks on finished products, monitor daily production schedules and collect tools and components from stock rooms for delivery to operators. General administration forms part of the duties, so computer literacy, including Excel, is essential.

Applicants should have previous experience in a comparable position and have worked on a shop floor, alongside a solid understanding of health and safety requirements.

Duties of the Production Assistant:

• Create, update and manage orders and tracking sheets

• Gather tools and components from stock rooms and deliver to the operators

The ideal candidate for the production assistant role will have previous experience in a similar position and will have experience of working on a shop floor. This role does require the successful candidate to have good IT skills as you will be required to use Excel.
