Job summary

Conquip is seeking a Production Assistant to join the day-shift production team in Alton, Hampshire. The role is based at the Alton site, with hours 5:45am–2:15pm, and a salary of £29,000–£31,000 per year.

The successful candidate will assist with assembly, unloading components, and supporting the paint line, yard and factory activities. A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly and production of skips.
• Help unload laser-cut components and materials.
• Support press braking and handle larger components.
• Assist the paint team with loading and unloading the paint line.
• Move and stack materials and finished products.
• Support general yard and factory activities.
• Operate forklifts and cranes when trained and required.
• Work closely with the wider production team to achieve daily output targets.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:45am – 2:15pm
