Production Assembly Operator

Location: Dundee, DND, GB

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour

Full time: 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals for a 9 month fixed term contract at our Broughty Ferry manufacturing site. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (assembly, paintshop, stores, etc.) is beneficial, although fully paid training will be provided. After training, you will work in various areas of the factory as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Safety – understand the importance of a Safe To Start Process, driving a safe working culture.
  • Quality – meticulous attention to detail to ensure a quality product by following Standard Work.
  • Delivery – maintaining a fast pace to meet hourly production targets.
  • Inventory – maintaining immaculate workspace and adhering to 5S standards.
  • Productivity – excellent attendance and timekeeping.
  • Support – assisting Team Leaders, Trainers, and Operatives when problems arise.
  • Culture – driving continuous improvement and promoting opportunities on the shop floor.
