A new position has been created for a Production Assembly Operative / Production Assistant.
Our client in Newhaven is seeking a Production Assistant to provide strong support to assembly workers.
The successful Production Assistant must ensure all assemblers have the required Stocks/Kit/Components and small Tools to complete their work. You may also be required to join the assembly line when necessary.
Computer skills are essential, as all stock issued must be monitored accurately.
If you wish to earn over GBP482 per week + accrued holiday pay, this could be the opportunity for you. Compensation details include:
Hourly pay of GBP12.21 (starting rate) for over 39.5 hours per week.
Working hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays finishing at 1.30pm.
Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two paid 15-minute breaks daily.
Weekly pay, paid every Friday.
This is a Temp to Perm position for the right candidate.
Candidates should have some experience in manual product assembly, such as machine operation, working with wood, machining, or sewing. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and accuracy are crucial.
Good computer skills are necessary for tracking stock and accurate data entry. Packaging must be done carefully to prevent damage to fragile products.
Lifting may be required; safety shoes must be worn at all times.
Motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable candidates are preferred. Flexibility is important to assist in different departments and learn various aspects of production.
Reliability, teamwork, and enjoying your role are key qualities.
This is a hands-on role, with the potential for permanent employment after a short period.
The position requires standing during working hours.
The work environment is clean, tidy, and professional, with access to the company kitchen during breaks. Free tea/coffee is available, and the canteen is open for breaks.
