Job description

Production Assembly Manager (9 months + maternity cover) – UK Basingstoke

We have an opportunity for an interim position covering the maternity leave of one of our Production Delivery Managers.

Involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. You'll make sure goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the required level of quality.
You will closely manage a team of 8 Production Assembly Operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • oversee the production process.
  • ensure that the production is cost effective;
  • decide what resources are required;
  • Maintain quality control process
  • monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed;
  • be responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment;
  • monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmes;
  • liaise closely with other departments.
  • work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals;
  • ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Ensure that the KPI’s are being met within company Guidelines

Desired Qualifications:

  • Educated to secondary education, good level of English GCSE or equivalent
