Job Description

Scope of Role:

• Build mechanical and/or electrical assemblies according to technical drawings, SOPs, and CMMs.
• Upgrade and repair mechanical and/or electrical assemblies.
• Test assembled products.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical wiring, including installing cabling, wires, conductors, and connectors within enclosed systems.
• Capable of soldering, crimping, cabling, sleeving, harnessing; working with mm wire and AWG.
• Experience in prototype wiring along with sound mechanical ability.
• Proficient in fitting and wiring components from electrical schematic circuit diagrams and blueprints.
• Conduct mechanical and electrical tests as defined in process control documents, e.g., resistance, inductance.
• Adhere to all manufacturing procedures.
• Complete all relevant documentation accurately.
• Assist customers, suppliers, and visitors by providing information and support as needed, demonstrating effective communication at all levels.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and 5S activities to enhance quality and output.
• Use PPE when provided, as required.
• Perform activities promptly to meet manufacturing targets.
• Take on ad hoc duties, including training colleagues and supporting other departments as needed.

Other Responsibilities/Non-essential Functions:

• Undertake training as identified by the role manager.
• Perform additional reasonable requests from management to support operations.
• Provide flexible support during periods of reduced staffing to ensure customer satisfaction.
