About the Production Area Leader job

The purpose of your role will be to manage the Cook Prep / High Risk Prep area, leading a team of Production Chefs, Food Safety Operatives, and Production Team Members. You will be responsible for maintaining food safety, product quality, health and safety, and protecting brand integrity.

Key tasks

• Follow company rules and safety by adhering to hygiene standards, GMP, and Health & Safety practices, and report any issues, accidents, or hazards.
• Carry out product checks (e.g. pack seals, coding, defects) and complete all traceability and CCP records accurately.
• Drive improvements through completion of audits, suggest better ways of working, support new products and processes, and help the team achieve set goals.

About You

The successful candidate should have leadership/supervisory experience within a food manufacturer or FMCG business.

The Production Area Leaderjob (ref:8953) is paying £28,000 to £32,000 per annum according to your experience.

The package includes 30 days holiday (including bank holidays), Pension with 4% employer contributions, Employee Assistance Programme and the chance to work paid overtime.

The site is based in Worcestershire and is commutable from Birmingham, Evesham, Bromsgrove, Worcester and surrounding areas.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1.30pm.
