Production & Assembly Operative required for a well-established machinery manufacturer based in Basingstoke, who due to continued success are seeking an enthusiastic Production and Assembly Operative to join their team.

Production and Assembly Operative Job Overview

• Assembly and packing of machinery
• Carrying out conditioning and cleaning of machinery parts
• Maintaining the quality of machines during assembly
• Carrying out quality checks on machines once assembled
• Assembly of spare parts and stock items
• Assist with quality and customer factory acceptance checks when required
• Assist the test/demo department when required
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace compliant with safety regulations

Production and Assembly Operative Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment with good assembly practices knowledge
• Based in a commutable distance of Basingstoke
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings
• Be able to work on your own initiative and be part of a team
• Good time keeping & physically fit for lifting up to 20kg
• Willing to travel occasionally to customer sites
• Full current driving license

Production and Assembly Operative Salary & Benefits

• 5 hour working week. Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. Permanent position
• 30 days holiday, including bank holidays
