Job summary

Citi is seeking an engineer to help build AI-driven systems across the Production Management area. You will work on greenfield software projects using the latest AI tech, partnering with colleagues, and building AI Agents and prompt engineering.

Qualifications

• Software engineering experience is a must, ideally in Python.

• Ability to quickly pick up new skills, frameworks, and paradigms.

Role Overview/What will you do

• You will be working on greenfield software projects using the latest AI technology.
• Your clients will be our colleagues in the Production Management area.
• You will be building AI Agents and doing prompt engineering.

Key Skills and Experience required

• Software engineering experience is a must, ideally in python.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML engineering — including working with LLM APIs.
• Demonstrable expertise in prompt engineering: designing, iterating, and evaluating prompts
• Ability to quickly pick up new skills, frameworks, and paradigms. In a field evolving as fast as AI engineering, the ability to learn is crucial.

Any Beneficial / Nice to have skills and experience

• Ability to operate in a global environment with on-/near-/off-shore matrix reporting structures.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical subject is desirable.
• Engineering Mindset — approaches every problem systematically
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
