Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland seeks an AI Engineer (Agentic/Applied) to design, build, and deploy production‑grade agentic AI systems across the enterprise tech stack. You will work with client engineering teams, lead technical design sessions, and develop reusable accelerators that scale beyond engagements.

The role requires hands-on experience with agentic orchestration frameworks and production-grade LLM integrations, including managing eval harnesses, observability, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Production-grade AI systems experience required.
• Experience owning eval harness and production observability.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern production-grade agentic systems at enterprise scale across environments.
• Define RAG pipeline standards and chunking/embedding strategies.
• Set multi-LLM integration standards with vendor-agnostic architecture.
• Own LLMOps at programme scale: eval strategy, prompt governance, cost controls.
• Lead client engagements at senior level and drive architecture sessions.
• Publish reusable patterns and accelerators to scale across the practice.
