Role: Production Administrator

Location: Dudley


Hourly Rate: £12.50ph


Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 9am to 4pm (1-hour lunch break)


Pertemps is recruiting an experienced Production/Warehouse Administrator for our client, a reputable company specializing in high-quality wood frames production. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with backgrounds in construction or manufacturing sectors to join a thriving company.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently handle incoming orders, ensuring all details are correctly processed and logged.
  • Input and manage data across various CRM systems such as ACT and Word, maintaining accuracy and timely updates.
  • Set up and manage contracts, ensuring all legal and compliance documentation is in place.
  • Assist with ordering materials and fixings for woodworking projects, ensuring requirements are met.
  • Answer phone calls and professionally manage customer and supplier inquiries.
  • Provide solutions to queries from clients or internal teams.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including faxing, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
  • Manage documents, ensuring files are properly stored and accessible.
  • Assist in managing stock levels, performing stock takes, and supporting deliveries.
  • Support on-site activities, including loading vans for deliveries and ensuring items are safely dispatched.
  • Drive the company vehicle to deliver supplies to site locations as needed.
  • Support site clear-up and ensure the site remains organized and safe.
  • Ensure smooth dispatch and production processes within the office.
Successful candidates will have:
  • Previous experience in office administration, ideally within construction, manufacturing, or woodworking sectors.
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and relevant software.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload.
  • A valid UK driving license and ability to use the company vehicle for deliveries.
  • Flexibility to assist on-site with deliveries and site clean-up when necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
