Job summary

AMS People Limited is recruiting a Production Administrator to support production planning, operations and transport with day-to-day administration and operational tasks.

You should have some experience in a similar administrative role, ideally in manufacturing, engineering, distribution or logistics, and be keen to learn and develop your skills. Strong numeracy, excellent communication and solid IT experience (MRP systems and Microsoft Excel) are desirable.

THE ROLE

My client, a successful manufacturing and engineering company, needs a Production Administrator to support their production planning, operations and transport functions with day to day administration and operational tasks.

You should have some experience in a similar administrative role, ideally in a manufacturing, engineering, distribution or logistics company and be keen to learn and develop your skills.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This would be an ideal opportunity for someone who has some experience in a similar role but wants to develop themselves further in a dynamic and growing organisation.

We're looking for someone who is focussed and efficient in carrying out their admnistrative duties and will enjoy a challenging and busy role.

Naturally you will have strong numercy skills, excellent communication skills as well as solid IT experience ideally including working with MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.

THE ROLE

In this varied and challenging role you will have the opportunity to get involved in:

  • Updating and maintaining production schedules
  • Actively support production with administrative tasks
  • Converting customer requirements into work orders
  • Working closely with purchasing and suppliers
