Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Test Engineer to join our dynamic customer on contract basis based in Gaydon, UK. In this role, you will work closely with development engineers to develop, execute, and track the testing of new and existing products and accessories. Your responsibilities will include creating test cases to ensure the reliable operation of our products, including four-corner testing, and working with customer support to reproduce and resolve customer issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test methods based on engineering specifications.

• Create and manage test cases to ensure product reliability.

• Collaborate with customer support to reproduce and troubleshoot customer-reported issues.

• Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and drawings to isolate issues found during testing.

• Manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision.

• Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals.

• Tackle difficult and sometimes complex problems.

Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of product test engineering, typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

• Proven experience in managing projects and processes.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
