About the role

It’s an exciting time to join the Digital team here at AXA Health, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform and deliver new digital services to our customers; and to streamline and automate our business processes. We're looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join our Engineering team, to help deliver our digital roadmap, develop our people and capabilities, and support our engineering strategy to drive improvements across all teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a product-led operating model, where teams align with value streams to efficiently take ideas from conception to completion. Our current focus is on developing our Single Digital Platform, based on Salesforce, with a significant .NET estate, Azure services, and React frontend web applications.

What you’ll do

1. Work as part of an Agile delivery team, identifying bugs early in the SDLC.
2. Collaborate with development teams to streamline handovers and define completion criteria.
3. Manage automated test pipelines, enhancing test reliability and coverage.
4. Participate in our AXA Health Test Guild, engaging with fellow test professionals.

What you’ll bring

1. Experience testing web frontends and APIs.
2. Creative and exploratory manual testing skills.
3. Hands-on experience with automated tests against .NET and React stacks.
4. Experience working in Agile teams.
5. Skills in non-functional testing, including Compatibility, Accessibility, and Performance.
6. Desirable: experience with Azure pipelines, Playwright, BrowserStack, Percy, K6, or Axe DevTools.
