The Role

To ensure compliance across our clients' product ranges including softlines, hardlines, and toys. To liaise with suppliers on product approvals and maintain critical path deadlines.

Main Duties
  1. Take ownership of relevant responsibilities to meet business needs and be committed to these.
  2. Escalate process failures to your line manager.
  3. Maintain Critical Path deadlines through supplier monitoring.
  4. Update the Product Lifecycle Management system (PLM) with all relevant information for accurate reporting.
  5. Approve documents such as Risk Assessments, Artwork, Test Plans, Test Reports, CR & Packaging Data, Declarations of Compliance, and Declarations of Conformity.
  6. Approve production samples.
Documentation and Technical Files
  1. Maintain technical files, product information files, and regulatory reports.
  2. Track and manage compliance documentation across SKUs and regions.
  3. Collaborate with Quality and Product Development teams to integrate compliance early in the product lifecycle.
  4. Advise on product claims, advertising standards, and legal labelling, ensuring they are evidence-based.
  5. Liaise with clients' Quality Assurance teams to resolve compliance issues or manage product recalls.
What We Are Looking For
  • At least 3 years of proven successful experience in a similar role within a Quality or manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of critical path management.
  • Knowledge of product sealing procedures, including product fit for use.
  • Experience working with retailers, brands, sourcing offices, vendors, and factories.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple product categories simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure and produce quality work at a fast pace.
  • Willingness to commute to Coventry once a month for retailer meetings.
  • Responsible, punctual, flexible, with a strong work ethic.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to use initiative.
  • Must have electrical product knowledge for Hardlines positions.

This role is office-based, 37.5 hours per week, with core hours from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm. Flexitime options are available.
