We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Technologist to join one of Europe's leading glass fibre manufacturers. Our client prides themselves on their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and their innovative approach to producing world-class products. Recent Graduates will be considered for this role.

As a Product Technologist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and development within the existing business, as well as assisting with future technical projects.

Main Duties:

  1. Provide direction and support to ensure compliance with legislation.
  2. Coordinate regular testing of products to identify and address faults, providing evaluations to improve their quality.
  3. Develop and update technological processes for production.
  4. Prepare and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
  5. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to parameters and specifications.
  6. Develop improvement plans for products and processes, analysing data to identify areas for enhancement.
  7. Conduct research and development work in laboratories and production facilities.
  8. Utilise company manufacturing systems to maintain accurate written and electronic records.

Position Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in Chemistry or Materials Science.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Experience in implementing ideas to simplify and improve business processes.
  • Good understanding of IT systems and excellent Excel skills.
