Qualifications

  • Experience with REACH/ZDHC compliance and UKCA/CE regulations is essential.
  • Knowledge of furniture and fire regulations is important.
  • Ability to read and interpret fabric specifications and lab results.

About the role

  • You’ll have experience in the sealing process, from design concept to shipment
  • Be able to manage product approvals and rejections, maintaining sample records
  • Assist the design/sales teams with product development, knowing how to adjust specifications to fit retailer specific requirements
  • Have a good understanding of textile qualities, being able to read and interpret fabric specs
  • Used to completing risk assessments and applying corrective measures
  • You won’t mind working independently and being in the know about new product legislation affecting customers/suppliers
  • A good knowledge of furniture and fire regulations – UKCA / CE and PPE
  • Experience with REACH / ZDHC chemical compliance plus ETI Base code (ethical & technical auditing) for supplier compliance

About you

  • You’ll come from a strong background in home textiles, fabric technology or a related field
  • Have great knowledge of fabric construction, finishing and testing procedures
  • Very good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work alongside internal teams and external suppliers
  • Be able to interpret lab results and compliance regulations
