Job Description

Work Flexibility: Field-based

Position Summary: To grow Stryker's Joint Replacement business by promoting Hip and Knee products to Orthopaedic Surgeons and optimizing customer service, growing existing accounts through technical expertise. The Product Support Specialist provides clinical product support to end users and assists during Mako surgical procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate outstanding ethics, treating customers and employees with respect.
  • Communicate the benefits and clinical applications of products.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and act with integrity.
  • Develop and execute business and sales plans in collaboration with mentors and managers.
  • Build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and utilize troubleshooting to grow the business.
  • Identify stakeholders and understand the decision-making process.
  • Maintain close supervision and keep supervisors informed of work status.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Plan and prioritize activities, support existing customers, and develop strategies to enhance Stryker's market position.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and negotiate to build sustainable relationships.
  • Conduct market observations and analyze area performance.
  • Address customer challenges and develop solutions with team support.
  • Participate in organizational meetings and training.
  • Manage customer data using CRM tools.
Clinical/Technical Expertise
  • Provide front-line support to surgeons and hospital staff before, during, and after surgeries.
  • Train and guide staff in the use of Stryker’s Mako robot and manual procedures.
  • Assist in pre-operative planning and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Collaborate with Field Service to ensure technical maintenance.
  • Build knowledge of implants and robotic applications to become a trusted resource.
  • Complete necessary training and obtain certifications for robotic-assisted surgeries.
