Product Support Engineer - Rail

Full Time, Mon - Fri

Stoke Gifford & Laira (Depot Based)

As a Product Support Engineer - Rail, you will conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mtu rail products to the standards specified in the manuals, in accordance with contract requirements and embrace digitalisation.

Responsibilities include:
  • Perform preventative, scheduled, and corrective maintenance activities as per schedules, manuals, and contracts.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities for maintenance and procedures.
  • Conduct planned maintenance following operating instructions.
  • Attend customer meetings for work sign-offs.
  • Fault finding and repairs using technical information.
  • Complete documentation of all work activities.
  • Engage in HSQE management processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of onsite facilities.
  • Attend training to keep skills current.
  • Participate in 24/7 shift work and callouts.
  • Work as a mobile engineer if required, with a provided van.
  • Cover work in other depots as needed.
  • Report parts used accurately for stock control.
  • Use IT systems effectively.
