  • Complete documentation for all work activities.
  • Engage in HSQE management processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of onsite facilities.
  • Participate in 24/7 shift work, including callouts.
  • Work as a mobile engineer if required with a provided van.
  • Cover work in other depots as needed.
  • Report parts used during service accurately.
  • Use IT systems effectively.

Job Description:

As a Product Support Engineer - Rail, you will conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mtu rail products to the standards specified in the manuals, in accordance with contract requirements and embracing digitalisation. Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing preventative, scheduled, and corrective maintenance activities according to schedules, manuals, and contracts.
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities for maintenance and procedures.
  • Conducting planned maintenance tasks following operating instructions.
  • Attending meetings with customers for work sign-off.
  • Fault finding and repairing using technical information such as drawings and guides.
  • Completing documentation for all work activities.
  • Engaging in HSQE management processes.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of onsite facilities.
  • Attending training to keep skills current.
  • Participating in 24/7 shift work, including callouts.
  • Working as a mobile engineer if required, with a provided van.
  • Covering work in other depots as needed.
  • Reporting parts used during service accurately.
  • Using IT systems such as Go!Care, C4S, eWeb, and others effectively.
