Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a FIFO (Perth) position on an 8:6 back to back roster! The role will be to support Rio Tinto at their Robe Valley Operations incorporating Mesa A and Pannawonica Mine sites. The HHP product consists of a fleet of Komatsu 830E Haul trucks, Komatsu WA1200 Loaders, Hitachi EX3600 Diggers, and drills. The mine site is located approximately 160kms south of Karratha.

This role will be suited to someone who is highly skilled and customer-focused; ideally, you would be a technician who enjoys a challenge and is capable of operating autonomously whilst delivering world-class results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Skills & Experience:

• 2 years post trade experience
• 2 years experience working on Cummins HHP engines
• Personal commitment to HSE and leading an interdependent safety culture
• HHP experience
• Strong influencer and interpersonal skills
• Team building approach
• Onsite mining experience
• A mature attitude, organized and methodical approach to work
• Problem solver and ability to work autonomously
• Movex competency (Preferred but not essential)
