The Role – Product & Supply Chain Engineering Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for a talented engineering leader to join a prominent aerospace engineering business in Gloucestershire.

In this role you will be leading and developing a talented team of engineers focused on resolving complex technical challenge in various areas of the product life cycle.

You’ll need a combination of technical know how to lead from the front, ideally centred around hydraulic products and also strong leadership background to mentor the team and ensure technical challenges are met and resolved.

Duties – Product & Supply Chain Engineering Manager

• Develop and mentor a team of engineers.
• Analyse production data to improve quality, delivery, and reduce costs.
• Lead investigations into product integrity.
• Liaise with and lead on communications with key suppliers and clients.
• Approve engineering documents and act as MRB authority.
• Develop and execute assembly & test (A&T) strategies aligned with team goals.
• Work with supply chain to reduce supplier issues and obsolescence.
• Support NPI team on A&T automation and digital projects.
• Coordinate with site leadership to meet delivery targets.

Background - Product & Supply Chain Engineering Manager
