Product Strategy Lead Role | Non-Profit Org | Fully Remote (UK Only) | £70,000-£80,000

Futureheads has partnered with an inspirational non-profit organisation with a rich history of providing support to individuals, local communities and public health services across the UK. They are now looking for a Product Strategy Lead who will shape the long-term future of their digital platform and team.

The organisation’s digital platform is at an exciting stage, with a robust launch plan in place for Q4 this year.

The successful candidate will join a highly capable team and inherit a well-developed platform, providing the ideal foundation to create and deliver the long-term product strategy. This is really exciting opportunity for someone looking to work within Tech for good and provide meaningful digital products.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a start-up or scale-up mentality, as well as hands-on experience navigating traditional environments undergoing major tech and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the 2–5 year digital product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and user needs.
  • Lead, coach, and support a multidisciplinary team (UX/UI, product delivery, business analysis) to deliver high-quality digital products.
  • Oversee a digital product portfolio, including new product launches and legacy product transformation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and alignment with the digital vision.
  • Champion user-centred design, accessibility, and inclusion throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and evidence-based decision making.
  • Ensure robust product governance, risk management, and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Monitor product performance, using data and insights to inform priorities and measure success.
  • Represent the product function at senior leadership and board meetings as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Significant experience in digital product management, strategy, or leadership roles. (7 years+)
  • Proven ability to set product vision and strategy across B2B and B2C products.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex product portfolios.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including at executive and board level.
  • Experience with both new product development (0–1) and transformation of legacy systems.
  • Deep understanding of user-centred design, agile delivery, and digital best practice.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. (be able to integrate the new and educate on product importance)
  • Passion for social impact, digital innovation, and tech for good.
  • A start-up or scale-up mindset, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, as well as experience working in more traditional settings undergoing large-scale digital change.
