Your mission

The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for supporting our customers and sales team by leading training initiatives, approving complex contracts, promoting LONGi's products during fairs and exhibitions, and building up-to-date product knowledge across our organization.

YOU WILL…

  • Support customers & sales, lead their trainings, promote LONGi and its products, build product knowledge, and establish excellent communication with customers
  • Provide detailed technical support to customers and the sales team, focusing on utility business in the UK & Ireland region
  • Visit customers to provide technical guidance on technology and new product offerings
  • Conduct online and face-to-face meetings with clients' technical departments for technical clarifications regarding technology, installation features, and solutions
  • Help manage the product support structure within the region and provide technical input to customer service contracts
  • Analyze customer feedback on new products and communicate insights to the internal product development team for improvements
  • Create product promotion materials based on regional characteristics
  • Champion quality and safety initiatives among the service teams
  • Support post-sales activities in case of claims

YOU NEED…

  • Good communication skills, comfortable presenting (both technical and marketing) at conferences, trade shows, and customer training sessions
  • Fundamental understanding of PV ingot/wafer/cell/module manufacturing technology, with knowledge of system integration basics
  • Experience working in distributor or EPC companies, with an understanding of industry dynamics
  • Experience in contract negotiations, pre-shipment QA/QC, and post-delivery claims
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • A science or engineering degree with 5-8 years of experience in electronics and/or photovoltaic industry
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice
