The Radar Safety Team is part of the broader EDR (Engineering Development & Radar) team and is made up of 3 to 5 engineers. The team is responsible for ensuring that radar products are safe to operate on the Typhoon platform—both at initial delivery and throughout the product’s lifecycle. As a member of this close-knit team, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals who will support your transition into the role.
You’ll have access to company product safety training and opportunities to deepen your knowledge of the Typhoon platform and its radar systems.
The role involves cross-functional collaboration, helping to ensure integration and alignment across departments so that all stakeholders understand the radar’s functionality. The team maintains strong connections across the wider business and interacts with external suppliers and partners.
