We are seeking a smart, hardworking, and creative candidate to join our Global Requirements and Operations Team as a Product Safety Compliance Manager for Softlines and Hardlines. The position can be located in London, Seattle, or Luxembourg.

Key job responsibilities

• Work with internal Private Brands stakeholders and business teams to develop solutions to safety and compliance requirements using high-level process/system solutions.
• Collaborate with the Regulatory Intelligence team to assess the impact of new, emerging, and changing product regulations.
• Propose updates and improvements to safety and compliance protocols.
• Make high-judgment decisions for product development escalations and safety investigations.
• Guide business and legal teams on product safety and compliance issues.
• Support post-market incident management with the audit team.

About the team

The Requirements and Operations Team ensures compliance and safe products for our Private Brands. The Product Safety Compliance Manager will implement and improve safety and compliance procedures for Softlines (apparel, accessories, footwear, jewelry, children’s sleepwear) and Hardlines (home textiles, electronics, toys, furniture, kitchenware, tools, household goods). The role involves managing escalations, developing processes, and ensuring worldwide compliance standards.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in Hardlines manufacturing or retail in product safety

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s Degree
• Experience with Six Sigma
• Creating sustainable compliance processes
• Knowledge of NA and EU labeling and packaging requirements for Softlines and Hardlines
• Understanding of NA, EU, and LATAM regulations
• Experience with children's products or food contact regulations
• Knowledge of international regulatory bodies (e.g., Middle East-GSO, Australia-ACCC, Japan-JISC)
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
