Job summary

Entrust is seeking a Product & Regulatory Counsel (AI) to be the legal voice in the room as AI and biometric products are designed, built and launched. You will translate fast-moving regulation into practical product requirements, guardrails and checklists for AI, biometrics and fraud signals across multiple countries.

You’ll partner with AI, Product and Engineering teams to implement governance, policies and playbooks, enabling cross‑functional teams to work confidently with emerging AI

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience, including 1–2 years’ in-house (a secondment counts)
• Good grasp of AI legal and governance principles, including the EU AI Act
• Qualified to practise law in at least one jurisdiction (LLB or equivalent, such as the GDL), with unrestricted work authorisation
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Partner with AI, Product and Engineering teams to turn regulation on AI, biometrics and fraud signals into pragmatic product requirements, guardrails and checklists
• Advise on how we procure and use AI, from third‑party systems to internal use cases, with governance that manages risk without slowing teams down
• Build Entrust's AI governance framework: policies, standards and review processes that people will follow
• Create playbooks, training and guidance that enable teams across the business work confidently with AI
• Scan for emerging AI, biometric and liability regulation, and turn it onto clear implications for our portfolio and roadmap
• Support our IDV Product teams as they enter new markets and launch new products across EMEA

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Product & Regulatory Counsel (AI) to be the legal voice in the room when our AI and biometric products are designed, built and launched. You'll turn fast-moving regulation into practical product requirements that teams can actually use, across new and existing products, including generative and agentic AI.

Key Responsibilities

What you’ll need

• Experience creating playbooks, training and practical guidance that helps cross-functional teams put legal, regulatory or AI governance requirements into practice
