Job description

What's the role?
This role plays a crucial role in monitoring and documenting new and changing product regulatory compliance topics, and influencing these areas. You'll be consulting and advising Hilti’s regional and global product marketing teams and local leadership on regulatory compliance, and driving the implementation of necessary changes.
What does the role involve?
In this role you'll be tasked to track and document new and evolving regulatory compliance topics for Construction Products and Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE), with a focus on regulations like the Building Safety Act, Theft Prevention Act, UK REACH, UK ROHS, UK Construction Products Regulation (CPR), and the Code for Construction Products Information (CCPI).

You'll engage in industry forums and technical working groups such as PETMA (Portable Electronic Tool Manufacturers Association) andASFP (Association for Specialist Fire Protection). You'll remain at the forefront of developments, innovations and changeson relevant product regulatory compliance topics, adopting a continuous learning approach.

You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts, to implement new processes, preparing and executinginternal and external communication and training as well as providing updates to regional and global product marketing teams and local leadership.
What you need is:
  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Legal or similar discipline
  • Previous experience in product regulatory compliance topics, ideally within construction/Electronic and Electrical Equipment
  • Understanding of building regulations and product regulatory compliance related standards, including Fire Protection Code and Approvals
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Ability to review and prepare product regulatory compliance related documentation
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
