Product Owner - Up to 70K

This is a permanent position based in County Antrim, with a salary of up to 70,000. The company is a Belfast startup seeking an experienced Product Owner with Software Engineering Management experience. You will play a key role in developing software and IoT-connected hardware products, providing data insights and meeting customer needs. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your technical and leadership skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Lead product development, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and creating user stories.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on time and within budget.
• Define and monitor key product metrics for performance assessment.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Advocate for the business and communicate effectively.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development.
• Strong technical background with hands-on software engineering experience.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of QA frameworks.
• Experience with scripting languages such as TypeScript and Angular.
• Experience in software engineering management is highly desirable.
