Job Description:

An exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking Product Owner who thrives on defining and delivering customer-facing e-commerce solutions. You will join a leading name in the food and beverage market with 500+ stores worldwide. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for shaping the product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions that meet customer and business needs. You will be part of a team that fosters a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation, contributing to the improvement of business processes and product strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Own the product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories based on value, business needs, and technical constraints.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, customers, and development teams, to gather requirements and validate product solutions.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure the timely delivery of product features, supporting implementation using agile methodologies.
  • Clearly define acceptance criteria for user stories and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure the team's alignment with product objectives.
  • Drive the product roadmap, identifying and delivering key features that enhance the customer experience and meet business goals.
  • Participate in sprint demos to validate that deliverables meet business expectations, providing feedback and adjustments as necessary.
  • Champion continuous improvement within the team, encouraging regular feedback and iterative progress toward product goals.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate a compelling product vision and drive it across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.
  • Experience in product backlog management, prioritization techniques, and defining user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Deep understanding of agile principles and methodologies, with experience in delivering products iteratively.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce environments and web applications, with the ability to make informed product decisions that drive customer value.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate product performance and customer feedback for continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working with agile teams, including backlog management, sprint planning, and product roadmap development.
  • Experience collaborating with both on-shore and off-shore teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Solid understanding of modern software development practices (., TDD, continuous integration, continuous delivery).
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and align product strategy with business objectives.
  • Strong experience in delivering value in an e-commerce or customer-facing product environment.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive product decisions and measure success.
  • Familiarity with techniques for maximizing the product’s value and optimizing development workflows.
