Product Owner IAM / MFS / BFR

Location: Remote
Contract: 3 Months (likely 3 month extension)
Day Rate: GBP(competitive) Outside IR35

Overview:

We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation seeking a contract Product Owner with strong expertise across Identity and Access Management (IAM), Multi–Factor Authentication (MFS), and Biometric & Fraud Risk (BFR) domains.

This is a key role within a high–profile security transformation programme; you will own the product vision and roadmap, drive delivery, and ensure seamless alignment between technical, business, and compliance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, translating complex IAM / MFS / BFR requirements into actionable product backlogs.
• Define and prioritise product features, ensuring alignment with regulatory, security, and customer experience goals.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure, scalable authentication and access management solutions.
• Manage the product roadmap and release cycles, ensuring timely delivery against programme milestones.
• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to senior stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in large–scale, enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Multi–Factor Authentication (MFS), and Biometric / Fraud Risk (BFR).
• Experience working in financial services or other regulated sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Agile delivery experience (Scrum/Kanban).
